Ronny became the Head Golf Professional at Sherrill Park in November 1985. Ronny was named 2020 PGA of America Golf Professional of the Year, the highest award given to a PGA member. Ronny completed his second term as President of the Northern Texas PGA in 2018-2019. He is the only 2 time President of the Northern Texas PGA as he served the same role in 2006-2007. His expertise managing Sherrill Park include overseeing 300 plus acres that encompasses Daily Operations, Food and Beverage, Golf Course and Property Improvements, and Teaching Programs. Ronny is an accomplished player as he has qualified for the Byron Nelson 7 times spanning 3 decades. He has also won 6 Individual Major Championships as a Senior.

Mike became an Assistant Golf Professional at Sherrill Park in January 1991. Mike has served this role for the past 31 years. Mike was promoted to Lead Assistant Professional in April 1994. Mike is an expert in Tournament Operations, and Merchandising. He was named Assistant Golf Professional of the Year for the Northern Texas PGA in 1994. Mike is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas, receiving a Business Degree in 1990.

Joey is an Assistant Golf Professional at Sherrill Park Golf Course. He is an Austin area native and came to us after spending three and a half years as an assistant professional at The Golf Club of Dallas. He is a former college baseball player and played at Murray State College and then transferred to The University of Texas at Dallas to finish up his schooling in Criminology. He started his career in golf in 2014 and has since been working in the industry. His teaching philosophy is establishing a consistent swing that works for the player. He enjoys teaching players of all skill levels. He is currently a PGA of America Associate and is working towards his full membership.

Josh has been an assistant professional at Sherrill Park since January 2019. He was born and raised in the Dallas, Texas area and grew up playing golf at all the local courses including Sherrill Park. He attended Sachse High School and was on the Varsity golf team all 4 years, graduating in 2009. Josh went on to earn his BBA in Marketing from Tarleton State. He is extremely passionate about the game of golf and enjoys contributing to the growth of the game. Josh is currently enrolled in the PGA PGM Program looking to become a PGA Member.

Assistant Golf Professional

Thomas is an Assistant Golf Professional at Sherrill Park Golf Course. As a longtime Richardson resident, he has been playing and practicing at Sherrill Park for nearly 18 years. He was a member of the Hawks Junior Golf team and has worked in both food and beverage and cart operations. He looks forward to becoming more involved in both golf instruction and operations at Sherrill Park as he pursues his PGA Membership.
